A little autumn song from Galicia (Spain).IES TELLEIRAS

A greetings to all and the wishes of a good trip with this song of autumn from Galicia.
A castaña no ourizo
quixo reír e estralou,
caíu do castaño embaixo
mira que tumbo levou.

(The chesnut in his burrs
wanted to laugh and burst,
fell of the chesnut tree
Look that hit she carried)

  2. And we in Poland have the same word, too :) "Kasztany" that is pronounced 'kashtany'. The only difference is that our Polish chestnuts are inedible.

  3. Thanks for your comment. In Galicia November is the month when we got the chestnuts to roast it.
